PhD Studentship at the School of Optometry, University of Waterloo, Canada.

A 3 year PhD position is available in the School of Optometry, 
University of Waterloo, Canada in the lab of Dr. Susan Leat starting 
September 2010. The purpose of the project is to investigate new ways 
to test the visual acuity of infants and young children and is funded 
by the Collaborative Health Research Projects Programme, NSERC, 
Canada through the Lab of Dr. Moshe Eizenman at the University of 
Toronto. The ideal candidate would have a background in optometry or 
ophthalmology (BSc, OD or MD), be a registered Optometrist or 
Ophthalmologist in his/her country and have some prior experience in 
the examination and assessment of young children and/or have an MSc 
in a related field.

The School of Optometry is the only English speaking School of 
Optometry in Canada and has an active graduate student programme.
