A postdoctoral position investigating the neural mechanisms of visual
attention is open in the laboratory of Dr. Steven Luck at the
UC-Davis Center for Mind and Brain (http://mindbrain.ucdavis.edu/).
The position will initially be funded by an NEI-sponsored institutional
training grant in vision science at UC Davis. The successful
candidate will help develop an fMRI project in collaboration with the
laboratory of Dr. Joy Geng.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience or a
related field. Significant experience in fMRI research is required. Experience
in attention, TMS, and MATLAB is desirable.

The UC Davis community is composed of several basic and translational
neuroscience centers and provides a friendly, collaborative
environment. Davis itself is medium-sized college town in northern
California close to the cultural attractions of San Francisco and the
recreational attractions of the Napa Valley, the Sierra Nevada mountains,
and the Pacific coast beaches.

To apply, please send a CV, a brief statement of research interests,
and 2-3 letters of recommendation. Questions and/or application
materials should be emailed to sjluck at ucdavis.edu. To receive full
consideration, applications must be received by August 1, 2010.
