The UC Berkeley Vision Science graduate students are pleased to announce
the 22nd annual Bay Area Vision Research Day, on Tuesday, August 17th,
2010.
BAVRD is organized each year by students in the Vision Science graduate
program, with the intention of bringing together researchers in
neuroscience, ophthalmology, molecular biology, psychology, optics, and
computer vision from around the Bay Area. It is a unique occasion to
present talks and posters from recent conferences, as well as show new
research in an engaging setting featuring local scientists from the
extensive vision research community.
Due to our diverse backgrounds and interests, this year's BAVRD promises
to be especially rich. The day will include breakfast, several sessions
of 15 minute talks, lunch, a poster session, and a reception. Details
of the program, including schedule, speaker lists, and abstracts, are
available on http://vision.berkeley.edu/bavrd . Free registration and
submission instructions are available on the website. Please RSVP by
August 3rd.
Please forward this email to Bay Area lab members or colleagues who may
be interested in the event. Thank you for helping keep the region a
supportive and vibrant scientific community!
