We are seeking advice on the use of plasma display in psychophysical experiments on human and non-human primates. Recently few groups have started using plasma displays in color vision experiment in place of CRT monitors (e.g. Kutas , Bodrogi, Color Research & Application, 33 (1) p. 45 - 54); even the CIE have discussed the issue. However there is no uniform consensus. Since we have no enough space for CRT displays I would like to receive some feedback on the use of plasma displays and maybe some reference (if there are) on their performance with respect to the CRT monitors in visual experiments. In other words, do you think/know if plasma displays are as good as CRT's?

Furthermore, anyone knows a very good plasma display?

Thank you so much , any help is very much appreciated!!!!!

Milena
