[Ghose Tandra]

Positions are available in the Perception Laboratory of Prof. Tandra Ghose at 
the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany. We are interested in 
various theoretical aspects of depth perception, perceptual organization, and 
object perception, as well as practical applications.Projects will primarily 
use psychophysical methods, eye-tracking, computational modeling, and may also 
involve testing and design of user-interfaces.

Ideal applicants will have many of the following skills: 
* computer programming skills (MatLab or C) * a strong background in visual 
psychophysics * experience with eye movement research * experience with 
computational modelling * experience with human factors /usability studies and a 
willingness to pick up new techniques
 
Salary is according to usual German salary scale.
I will be available to answer your questions during the annual meeting of the 
CPC/ Psychonomic Society  between November 17–21, 2010, in St. Louis.
