Stephen Macknik and I have written a new book, with Sandra Blakeslee, about
visual and cognitive illusions as related to magic, called Sleights of Mind:
What the Neuroscience of Magic Reveals About Our Everyday Deceptions,
published by Henry Holt & Co (http://sleightsofmind.com). An excerpt of the
book is the main cover story of the November/December issue of Scientific
American MIND.
