The Colour Imaging Lab (/www.ugr.es/local/colorimg

Offer a new job position in our lab to work in the project entitled
*"Characterization of elements in urban scenes"* . We are looking for
graduates and/or post-graduates in one of the following fields:
electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, imaging science,
mathematics, robotics, physics, optics, or industrial engineering. The
position is for 6 months (revised each six-month period up to 24 months
maximum) and the students will receive a monthly grant of *1100 euros*
during the firs semester. The contract and the amount of money will be
revised each six months according to the objectives and the quality of
work developed for that period of time.
We seek strong and motivated candidates. Selection will be based on
excellence of the candidate, his/her expertise in multispectral science
and his/her motivation to undertake the aims of the project. The
research topic is related with the spectral capture of urban scenes
using a commercial hyperspectral imager. New classification and index
algorithms will be studied to characterize and to analyze the image
database.
