Symmetry Detection from Real Images – An US-NSF-funded Competition and a 
CVPR 2011 Workshop

The first "Symmetry Detection from Real World Images" competition was 
initially launched at the ECCV 2010 Tutorial "Computational Symmetry: 
Past, Present, Future".  US-NSF will provide travel funds to the 
top-three winners to present their methods/outcome at a CVPR 2011 
workshop Symmetry Detection from Real World Images - A Competition.
