The 34th European Conference on Visual Perception
28th August- 1st September 2011, Toulouse, France
ECVP in 2011 will be held in Toulouse, France from Sunday the 28th August
till Thursday the 1st of September. It will be held at the Pierre Baudis
Conference Centre, a state of the art conference venue located in downtown
Toulouse.
It is being organized by Simon Thorpe assisted by numerous members of the
Brain and Cognition Research Centre (http://www.cerco.ups-tlse.fr), as
well as by other researchers in the Toulouse area.
The south of France will be a particularly good place to visit next summer
because the week before ECVP the 16th European Conference on Eye Movements
will be held in Marseille, only a few hours from Toulouse (21-25 August).
We very much hope that there will be many of you who would be interested
in attending both meetings.
We already have two keynote speakers lined up for ECVP, with Stan Dehaene
who will be giving the Rank Prize lecture and Anne Treisman who will be
giving the annual Perception lecture. We are also actively planning a
number of special topic sessions that we hope you will find interesting.
There will also be a number of social events and a Gala Banquet.
The website for inscriptions and submission of abstracts will be online
soon, but you can already note that the date limit for abstract submission
will be on the 31st of March.
In the meantime, if you want to contact the organisers, feel free to send
an email to ecvp2011-admin at cerco.ups-tlse.fr .
Hoping to see you in Toulouse next year
Best wishes
The ECVP organising committee.
