TWO or THREE RESEARCH ASSISTANT OPENING

*Laboratories of Drs. Ingrid Olson and Jason Chein*



We are looking to hire several research assistants for a 2-year period at
Temple University, Department of Psychology. Research assistants will have
the opportunity to interact with a large network of collaborators in the
greater Philadelphia area. Philadelphia is a beautiful and affordable city,
a 2- hour train ride away from NYC and Washington D.C. Salary range is
$29,000+ and benefits include health and dental. We use behavioral, patient,
fMRI, and brain stimulation techniques to study memory (including social
memory) and decision making. More detailed information about our research

The RA will be in charge of trouble-shooting any computer-related problems.
S/he is also expected to write experiments in Eprime or Matlab and analyze
fMRI data using BrainVoyager/AFNI. As such, strong computer skills are of
critical importance. Strong organizational skills are also important as the
RA will be in charge of recruiting, scheduling, and testing subjects,
managing data, IRB, etc.  Hours need to be flexible because some testing of
subjects may take place after 5 p.m. The ideal candidate will have a
bachelor’s degree in any subject related to cognitive neuroscience.
