CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
The conference will take place at Blekinge Institute of Technology on the 26-27th of May 2011. The special theme of the conference is "Novel Gaze-Controlled Applications" and we hope to bring together a diverse group of people interested in this topic. The use of eye tracking has recently opened up many new exciting combinations. Not only does it make it possible to find out what and where people are attending to in stimuli and interfaces, it can also be connected to additional instrumentation or apparatus for example biometric or auditive information. In combination with eye tracking or gaze steering we can orchestrate our whole body in novel interaction with screen and different devices. Topics for contributions include but are not limited to the following areas:
Interaction methods available when using gaze interaction
Challenges associated with interaction methods and possible solutions for these
Technical challenges when using eye tracking for interaction
Where are the limitations, what implications does these limitations put on the interaction and what can be done to compensate for these limitations
Integration of eye tracking with other modalities (galvanic skin response (GSR), audio, haptics, electroencephalography (EEG), graphics, pulse, brain-computer interface (BCI))
The application domains can be games, serious games, simulation training, robotics, health, accessibility, wellbeing and fitness, social interaction, team building
Please join us in Karlskrona to interact with academic and industry researchers from Sweden and abroad, share new results, and discuss emerging directions for the field.

Conference - 26-27th of May
SUBMISSION
Submissions relating to all aspects of eye tracking are invited. We invite short (up to 4 pages) and long (maximum 8 pages) papers in the categories of applications and research. High quality submissions describing work-in-progress will also be considered. Papers must be written and presented in English. The main contribution of the paper should not previously have appeared in, or be submitted to, any other conference or journal. If accepted, you will beexpected to deliver an oral presentation at the conference. All accepted papers will appear in the digital conference proceedings and there will be a prize for the best paper.
