A post-doctoral fellowship in systems neuroscience to study neural
mechanisms of visual and cross-modal perception is available immediately
at the Brain and Behavior Discovery Institute at Georgia Health Sciences
University (GHSU).
A variety of research projects are available in visual and cross-modal
perception and rehabilitation of cognitive deficits. We use
state-of-the-art research methods, including microelectrode recordings
in awake, behaving monkeys, fMRI in humans, human/monkey psychophysics,
computational modeling, as well as neuropsychological assessment and
rehabilitation of patients. Individuals with prior experience in at
least one of these fields and the desire to gain expertise in one or
more of the others are encouraged to apply. For more information about
our research, visit the laboratory web page at www.hegde.us.
Qualified candidates with a doctoral degree in neuroscience or an allied
field should send a letter of interest and a curriculum vitae to Jay
Hegdé at e-mail: jhegde at georgiahealth.edu. For additional information
about institutional requirements and to apply, visit GHSU's employment
page (http://www.georgiahealth.edu/Jobs/external.html) and apply for
position #9639. GHSU is an AA/EEO/Equal Access/ADA Employer.
On February 1st, MCG became Georgia Health Sciences University. My email address has also changed to the format "@georgiahealth.edu". Please update your address book to reflect this change.
