[visionlist] Ocular epidemiology and genetics feature issue & call for papers

Ophthalmic & Physiological Optics (OPO) is soliciting papers for a 
Feature Issue on

"Ocular epidemiology and genetics."

Deadline for submission is July 1st, 2011.

This feature issue provides the opportunity for your work to be 
published alongside papers with a similar subject matter, ensuring 
exposure to a wide audience of vision researchers. Past feature 
issues have included a number of important and highly cited papers.

The feature issue will cover topics including:
o	Epidemiology studies exploring environmental risk factors for 
eye diseases
o	Surveys reporting the prevalence of eye diseases and vision disorders
o	Study design and baseline findings for new/ongoing epidemiology studies
o	Heritability studies concerning eye diseases and vision disorders
o	Genetic linkage and association studies of eye diseases
o	Investigations of normal ocular gene expression
o	Changes in ocular gene expression during disease or normal development
o	Research findings from genetic models of eye diseases and 
vision disorders

Manuscripts will be peer reviewed and must be submitted online at 
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com:80/opo. They should be prepared 
according to the instructions to authors available through the web 
site homepage http://www.wiley.com/bw/journal.asp?ref=0275-5408
Indicate in the cover letter that your paper is being submitted for 
this feature issue.

The Guest Editors are three leading international researchers in this 
area: Professor Seang Mei Saw (National University of Singapore), 
Professor Kathryn Rose (University of Sydney) and Dr Jeremy 
Guggenheim (Cardiff University). Dr Guggenheim is the lead Guest 
Editor and will coordinate review of submitted articles in 
conjunction with the Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor. Please
