VSS is quickly approaching.  Here are a few important reminders.

 

Registration - If you haven't registered for the meeting, there is still
time to do so. Online registration will close tomorrow, April 20.
Pre-registering now will mean a shorter wait at check in and less money
(onsite rates are higher). To register, go to:

pick up their badge and meeting materials at the Pre-Registration check-in
desk located on the second level of the Naples Grande Hotel (in the Royal
Palm Foyer). Onsite registration will open at 9:00 am on Friday, May 6. 
 

Symposia - Don't forget, the VSS meeting will open with six member-initiated
symposia, beginning at 12:00 pm on Friday, May 6. No signup necessary, but
we suggest you arrive early to reserve your spot. For complete symposia

ARVO at VSS Symposium - Join us on Friday, May 6, at 5:00 pm for a special
symposium "What the retina tells us about central visual processing". More

Friday Night Poster Session and Exhibits - Following the ARVO at VSS Symposium,
the first poster sessions begin at 6:45 pm in both the Vista and Orchid
Ballrooms. Exhibits will also be open during the Reception and Poster
Sessions. The Opening Night Reception begins at 7:30 on the Sunset and Vista
Decks and the Mangrove Pool. 

 

Don't forget to book your Airport Shuttle for transportation from the Ft.
Meyers Airport to the meeting hotels. The one-way VSS fare is $30/person
each way plus 15% driver gratuity ($34.50 total), and will be available
every day of the VSS meeting beginning on Wednesday, May 4. For more

VSS Trolley Shuttle - An evening shuttle will run between the Naples Grande
hotel and downtown (with several stops in between). The shuttle will be
complimentary to VSS attendees and guests, and will run approximately every
hour on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings.  Shuttle will also
run on Monday afternoon.   

 

Childcare - The Naples Grande Hotel will offer a children's program during
the VSS meeting; 1/2 day, full day and evening programs are available. See
