It's not too late!!  Final Call for Abstracts for The Eye and The Auto International Conference
Deadline for Abstract Submission has been extended to June 15, 2011.

The Eye and The Auto, sponsored by the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology, is an international research conference dedicated to improving our understanding of the relationship between vision and the safe operation of motor vehicles.  Sessions will be devoted to a variety of topics including but not limited to: visual processing, visual attention; human factors and design issues relevant to the driver; roadway and vehicle design; vision impairment, eye conditions and driver safety.  Research on policies that address vision and driving and on driver assessment and rehabilitation strategies for visually impaired drivers will also be addressed.  This meeting will be of keen interest to professionals from the field of driver performance and safety, including vision and cognitive scientists, engineers, epidemiologists, clinicians, designers, policy specialists, and the media.
