We are seeking a highly motivated and talented postdoctoral fellow or
PhD student to work in the Section of Neuropsychology of the
University of Tuebingen, Germany
The goal of the research program is to study the mechanisms and
anatomy underlying selective attention in healthy subjects and
pathological extinction in neurological patients. We investigate
patients with brain lesions as well as healthy subjects using
functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), transcranial magnetic
stimulation (TMS) and behavioural recordings. Further information on

The PhD student can acquire a PhD degree in "Neuroscience" in an
interdisciplinary graduate program. The postdoctoral fellow should
have a PhD in psychology, neuroscience or a related field and should
have experience with fMRI and/or TMS. Being able to speak German (or
willingness to learn) is highly desirable.
The position is currently funded for one year (with potential
extension for 3 further years depending on whether or not an already
submitted funding application is successful) and should start as soon
as possible but in November 2011 at the latest. Candidates should
