One Year Lecturer or Assistant Professor
The Department of Psychology at North Dakota State University is recruiting for a one year, non-tenure track position as a lecturer or assistant professor. There is a possibility of renewal for a second year. This position begins August 16, 2011. The position requires teaching 2 to 3 classes a semester. The preferred classes include introduction to psychology and statistics. Other possible classes include abnormal, health, memory, or organizational. The minimum qualifications for the position are A.B.D. in psychology (Ph.D. for appointment as Assistant Professor), demonstrated potential to teach assigned classes, ability to interact effectively with colleagues and students, and effective oral and written communication skills. Preferred qualifications include Ph.D., previous teaching experience, and potential to contribute to the research environment of the department.
