(Our apologies if you have already received this email through CVNet.)
Submissions are invited toward a special Research Topic issue on
"Invariant Recognition of Visual Objects" in Frontiers in Computational
Neuroscience.
The issue will focus on how the visual system recognizes objects
regardless of variations in viewpoint, illumination, retinal size,
background, etc. For additional details, please see
http://www.frontiersin.org/Computational%20Neuroscience/specialtopics/invariant_recognition_of_visua/498.
Contributors are encouraged to submit articles describing novel results,
models, viewpoints, perspectives and/or methodological innovations
relevant to this topic. Pre-submission inquiries are welcome.
Deadline for manuscript submission is November 1, 2011.
