[visionlist] postdoc position for 5 years in HUNGARY

We seek for a postdoctoral research fellow with a strong commitment in
mapping synaptic networks in the mammalian visual cortex in relation to the
integration of visual signals using intrinsic signal optical imaging,
electrophysiology and cutting edge neuron labelling techniques and their
combinations.

 

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in the niche of
an international consortium, BrainScale. Experience and knowledge in in vivo
electrophysiology is required. Skills in histological techniques and
programming are a distinct advantage. The position is a 3 year appointment
with a possible extension up to 5 years. Salary is according to the
directive of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and depends on work
experience.
