[visionlist] Postdoctoral position, Center for Visual Science, Univ. of Rochester

[Duje Tadin]

NIH funded postdoctoral position to conduct psychophysical, TMS and fMRI studies of visual perception is available immediately. Initial appointment is for one year, with annual extensions based on successful performance. Start date is flexible.

Required qualifications:

     - a PhD and/or MD (completed before the start date)
     - strong research background
     - strong programming skills (MATLAB/Psychtoolbox preferred)
     - experience with visual psychophysics

Highly preferred qualifications:

     - background in vision research or related fields
     - strong computational skills
     - experience with fMRI, TMS and/or eye-tracking
     - ability and desire to conduct independent research
     - experience with and/or interest in collaborative, multi-method research approaches
