Cognitive Neuroscience faculty positions at Tsinghua University, Beijing, China

The Department of Psychology at Tsinghua University announces the availability of 2 open-rank faculty positions in COGNITIVE NEUROSCIENCE, commencing September, 2012. The minimum qualifications for the positions are: Ph.D. degree in cognitive neuroscience or related areas, strong potential for high-quality research using human subjects and fMRI, ability to teach courses in our curriculum and in a specialty area, and excellent record of publication.

Applicants with research interests in all areas of Cognitive Psychology (e.g., sensation/perception/attention/language, etc.) are welcome to apply. Expertise in the electrophysiological (i.e., high-density EEG), eye-tracking, and TMS techniques would be advantageous but not required. Applicants with strong research potential are extremely welcome. Outstanding candidates with no fMRI background are also encouraged to apply.

Teaching load is 96 course hours (6 course credits) each year at the under-graduate or graduate level, with a mandatory requirement of at least one under-graduate course per year.

Applications should include a curriculum vita, research statements and teaching interests, and 3-5 selected reprints.
