[visionlist] Vision and IT Displays . Final call for papers

Ophthalmic & Physiological Optics (OPO) is soliciting papers for a 
Feature Issue on

"Vision and IT displays"

Deadline for submission is January 6th, 2012.

The feature issue will cover topics including:

o	Prevalence and aetiology of computer vision syndrome.

o	Effect of sustained nearwork from electronic screens on 
refractive error development,          		binocular function 
and ocular health (including dry eye).

o	Effect of three-dimensional stereoscopic viewing on visual function.

o	Visual resolution of electronic displays.

o	Health effects of viewing electronic displays, e.g., 
photo-sensitive epilepsy.

o	Visual impairment and electronic displays.



Manuscripts will be peer reviewed and must be submitted online at 
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com:80/opo. They should be prepared 
according to the instructions to authors available through the web 
site homepage http://www.wiley.com/bw/journal.asp?ref=0275-5408


Indicate in the cover letter that your paper is being submitted for 
this feature issue.
The Guest Editors are:
Professor Mark Rosenfield (State University of New York, USA)
Dr. Peter Howarth (Loughborough University, UK)
Dr. Jim Sheedy (Pacific University, Oregon, USA)
Dr. Michael Crossland (UCL Insitute of Ophthalmology, London, UK).
Professor Rosenfield is the lead Guest Editor and will coordinate 
review of submitted articles in conjunction with the Editor-in-Chief
