Opportunities for Graduate and Postdoctoral Training in Vision Science
& Applications
We are pleased to announce a new interdisciplinary training program
in Vision Science & Applications, offered by members of the Centre for
Vision Research, York University, Toronto, Canada. The program is
accepting applications at the Master’s, PhD and Postdoctoral levels.
Made possible by an NSERC Collaborative Research and Training
Experience (CREATE) grant, this new program provides specialized
training in vision science research as well as opportunities for cross-
disciplinary training, international experience and collaboration with
industry in a range of application areas, including:
· 3D digital media
· Aerospace
· Face and scene analysis
· Visual health
Interested applicants should contact one of the program mentors
directly. Master’s and PhD applicants must also apply through one of
the participating graduate programs at York University. Applications
may in some cases be considered beyond the graduate program deadline.
Both Canadian and International applicants are encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants will be fully funded.
