The laboratory of Jay Hegdé at the Georgia Health Sciences University
has immediate openings for up to three postdoctoral researchers.

We study the neural mechanisms of visual perception as statistical
(Bayesian) inference. We use a variety of research methods, including
microelectrode recordings in awake, behaving monkeys, fMRI in humans,
human/monkey psychophysics, and machine learning. Strongly motivated,
self-driven individuals with prior experience in at least one of these
fields and the desire to gain expertise in one or more of the others are
encouraged to apply. Candidates with prior experience in monkey
neurophysiology are strongly preferred.

To apply, please send (i) a cover letter describing research
accomplishments and interests, and (ii) a curriculum vitae to the
address below, preferably as email attachments.
