[visionlist] PostDoc position at the Italian Institute of Technology

A postdoctoral position will be available immediately at the Center for Neuroscience and Cognitive Systems (CNCS, Rovereto, Italy) at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia - IIT, to develop a sophisticated holographic system for volumetric visualization. The holographic system will be used by Dr. Fulvio Domini of CNCS for studying human 3D visual processing for perception and action. The postdoctoral fellow will be supervised by Prof. Enzo Di Fabrizio, Head of the Nanostructures Department (Genova, Italy) and Dr. Domini.  The ideal candidate should have a physics or engineering Ph.D., and possibly have experience in optics and laser technology.



We seek highly motivated Italian or international candidates who are willing to work for some period of time at the Nanostructures Department, in Genova, and then build the new holographic system at CNCS, Rovereto.
