Postdoctoral Research Associate - High Resolution Retinal Imaging

An NEI funded postdoctoral fellow / research associate position is
available in the laboratory of Dr. Nathan Doble in the Department of
Vision Science at the New England College of Optometry (NECO), Boston,
MA. The successful candidate will work within a highly collaborative
research environment focused on the development and use of high
resolution adaptive optics instrumentation for the study of retinal
structure and function.

We are interested in candidates with optical / biomedical engineering
expertise. Experience with controls engineering and / or signal
processing would be particularly advantageous. Prior programming
experience with Matlab, C, C++ is essential.

We seek a talented and motivated candidate at the PhD level. Excellent
communication and writing skills are required. A good balance of
independence and collegiality in research is expected.
