Applications are invited for a three-year fully funded PhD studentship in the School of Psychology, Bangor University under the supervision of Prof Paul Downing. The studentship is available from October 1st 2012. Closing date for applications is April 30th, 2012.

We are engaged in a variety of research projects that cluster under the general theme of "social vision", particularly around human body, face, object, and action perception. Much of the research we do uses fMRI; however other studies in the lab have used behavioural, EEG, and TMS approaches, often in collaboration with colleagues in the School.
