REGISTRATION NOW OPEN
-----------------------------------------------------
We are delighted to announce that registration for ASSC16 is now open. Please visit
http://theassc.org/assc16_registration
where you will see separate options for student, member, and nonmember registrations. As well as the main conference fee you will be able to select from a range of tutorials, the conference dinner, and an additional satellite event 'neuropsychiatry and consciousness'. Numbers are limited for these extra events, so register early. Lower early-registration fees also apply until April 30th.
ASSC16 is the 16th annual meeting of the Association for the Scientific Study of Consciousness. It will take place in Brighton, UK, from July 02-06, 2012. The 4 day meeting (plus 1 day of tutorial sessions and a 1-day satellite symposium) brings together leading researchers in neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science, philosophy, psychiatry, neurology, and computer science in a forum dedicated to showcasing and advancing rigorous scientific approaches to understanding the nature, function, and underlying mechanisms of conscious experience. Attendees are drawn from researchers, clinicians, students at all levels, as well as the interested media and public.
We have recieved over 400 abstract submissions for ASSC16, helping ensure that ASSC16 will be biggest and best ever. And with many concurrent events in Brighton being planned, we can look forward to a true citywide celebration of consciousness science. Oral and poster presentations will complement the exciting plenary programme below:
