[visionlist] VisionList gains 5,000th subscriber

We are delighted to report that VisionList, a mailing list for vision scientists,
recently gained its 5,000th subscriber. The list has been in operation since 1997, 
bringing readers information about doctoral programs,  postdocs, jobs, conferences, software, 
and many other resources of value to the vision science community.

Many of these resources are of particular value to those just starting out in their careers.
Please make sure you pass along information about this list to your students, postdocs,
fellow students, colleagues, and yes, even supervisors.
