Medical Image Analysis Research Scientist Position

GE Global Research, Bangalore, India

 

We are looking for highly motivated self-driven researcher to conduct
research in the areas of medical image analysis including CT, MRI, PET
and multi-modalities to address varied clinical problems.

This role requires scientist with proven expertise in medical image
analysis through top-notch publications and experience of working in
image analysis addressing different clinical problems. In particular the
individual is expected to conduct research in CT, MRI, PET image
registration. The person is expected to possess strong background in
image registration & solving optimization problem with proven track
record through high quality publications. He/She needs to have strong
implementation and programming skills. He/She should be able to work
global multi-disciplinary teams and work closely with GE businesses.

We are looking for candidates with PhD in Electrical Engineering,
Biomedical Engineering, Computer Sciences or Applied Maths and
demonstrated ability to learn and apply recent advances in medical
imaging and image analysis to solve clinical and imaging problems.
He/She must be eager to work in a global team of experienced and dynamic
researches to develop the next generation of imaging. Should be a team
player with good communication skills.
