The School of Psychology at the University of Wollongong is recruiting for a Lecturer in the area of visual perception and psychophysics (continuing appointment, Level B).
The School of Psychology provides quality training in professional postgraduate programs and undergraduate psychology. It also has a growing reputation for research and teaching excellence. The successful applicant will provide teaching at undergraduate level particularly in visual perception. Undertaking research in this area will also be a key function.
To succeed you will have expertise in the areas of visual perception and psychophysics. A research profile in the area of optic flow or vection would be highly regarded. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to complete research projects and publish results, a commitment to excellence in teaching and research, highly developed communication skills and proven ability to work in a team.
