MultiSensory Integration Meeting

University of Birmingham, Monday 11th June 2012
This one day event is organised by postgraduate researchers from the University of Birmingham, with the aim of promoting communication between researchers interested in the integration of sensory information. The meeting will cover a range of approaches to the topic, including behavioural, neuroimaging, and computational methods, as well as applications in robotics. We will conclude the meeting with a demonstration of 'Dora the Explorer<http://cogx.eu/results/dora>' -Cognitive systems that Self-understand and Self-extend.

In addition to talks from invited speakers, we have allocated time and space for poster sessions which will give attendees the opportunity to present their work. We encourage researchers to submit an abstract before the deadline of May 20th. Please note that the topic is not restricted to mutisensory integration, but can be extended to include unimodal cue combination.
