Dear Colleague,
There are three research fellowships being offered at Southern Cross University (see http://www.scu.edu.au/jobs/index.php/12#acad). They are not specifically targeted at vision researchers, but one of the priority areas, health, might be relevant for one of them. I would be delighted to field informal enquiries about the position:
Southern Cross University Postdoctoral Research Fellowships aim to support excellence in full-time research undertaken across the University in areas of strategic research priority.
The University will be offering up to three new Fellowships during 2012.
Successful applicants are expected to be based full-time at the University for the three year duration of the Fellowship.
Applicants must have a high quality track record relative to opportunity in order to be short-listed and a PhD award dated no earlier than 1 March 2007 or commensurate with a period of significant career interruption (between 1 March 2007 to 1 March 2012). Note that the PhD award date is defined as the date on the testamur.
The deadline for applications is 23 May 2012.
I am planning to be at VSS; I can answer questions about the position there.
Cheers,
Robert.
