A warm invitation to all our northern hemisphere colleagues to skip out on winter & join us at the
Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Conference (ACNC) will be held in Brisbane, Nov 29 to Dec 2, 2012
Website: www.acns.org.au/acnc2012
The ACNC-2012 conference will be hosted over 3 days at University of Queensland, Brisbane, from Nov 29 to Dec 2, with a series of keynote lectures, symposia, and oral and poster presentations. We are also holding a 2-day workshop immediately before the conference (Nov 27, 28) focussed on methods used in cognitive neuroscience research, with half-days covering introduction to EEG, fMRI, TMS, and connectivity analysis techniques.
This is a new conference, but continuing from the very successful ACNC conference at Macquarie University last December. We have founded a new society - the Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society (ACNS) to represent research in cognitive neuroscience broadly in Australia and New Zealand - that is, research with a focus on the relationships between the brain, mind, and behaviour. See details on our webpage (www.acns.org.au) or join us on Facebook.
