I am sorry to report that Lou Silverstein has died.
Lou passed away peacefully while working at his desk late tuesday evening.
As a color scientist, Lou worked tirelessly to bring modern, scientific ideas 
about human vision to the field of electronic displays,
and to invite other vision scientists into the applied vision community.

He was a mentor and friend to many, and will be terribly missed.
