Matlab Programmer/Software Developer position available in
Cognitive/Vision Laboratory at The University of Chicago
David Freedman’s laboratory in the Department of Neurobiology at The
University of Chicago is accepting applications for a Full Time
Software Developer and Research Technician. The laboratory specializes
in cognitive and visual neuroscience studies of learning and memory.
The successful candidate will have excellent opportunities for getting
involved in research in addition to assisting in programming and
software development. The laboratory is located in Chicago, Illinois
on the main campus of The University of Chicago.
The primary responsibility will be to help develop and maintain
“Monkeylogic”, a Matlab based software package for designing and
controlling behavioral and neurophysioloical studies. Programming
experience is required, and familiarity with Matlab is preferred.
Familiarity with common laboratory and computing devices is preferred.
