Carl Zeiss Young Investigator Award on Ophthalmic Research

 

As a joint effort between Carl Zeiss Vision and Carl Zeiss Meditec and
starting with regional focus on Europe, a dedicated award for Young
Researchers during an early phase in their academic career has been
launched recently.

This "Carl Zeiss Young Investigator Award on Ophthalmic Research" will
recognize a young researcher for his/her distinguished scientific
contribution in the wider field of ophthalmic research , including
visual psychophysics, physiological and biomedical optics and the
research efforts to overcome the respective optical limitations of
vision.

Award ceremony and award lecture will take place at the Annual Meeting
2012 of the European Association for Vision and Eye Research (EVER) in
Nice, France, on October 10-13, 2012.

 

Nomination phase has started. 

Peer review process will be ensured with external partner (European
Gateway for Vision Research).
