Dear all,

 

We would like to remind you about this year's BeFIT workshop
(http://face.cs.kit.edu/befit/workshop2012/) that will take place in
conjunction with the ECCV 2012 on October 13th in Firenze, Italy.

 

We would like to inform you that Quaero program will sponsor the activity
again and with this support a "Best Paper Award" will be given at the
workshop. Our invited speaker will be Dr. Sébastien Marcel from IDIAP
Research Institute, Switzerland. The title of his talk is "On the importance
of benchmarking in facial image analysis".

 

Important dates for the workshop are as below:

 

* Paper deadline: July 8, 2012

* Notification of acceptance: July 31, 2012

* Camera ready deadline: August 5, 2012

* Workshop date: October 13, 2012

 

 

Attached you can find the "Call for Papers" of the workshop. We would
appreciate, if you could distribute it to your colleagues who might be
interested in contributing. We would also appreciate, if you could
contribute to the workshop by submitting papers.
