Dear Researchers Working on Face-related Topics,

We would like to invite you or your colleagues to submit a paper to this
year's BeFIT workshop (Benchmarking Facial Image analysis Technologies) that
will be held in conjunction with the ECCV 2012 on October 13th in Firenze,
Italy. Attached please find the call for paper. 

 

We would like to mention that Quaero program will sponsor the activity again
and with this support a "Best Paper Award" will be given at the workshop.
Our invited speaker will be Dr. Sébastien Marcel  from IDIAP Research
Institute, Switzerland. The title of his talk is "On the importance of
benchmarking in facial image analysis".

 

Important dates for the workshop are as below:

 

* Paper deadline: July 15, 2012 (Extended deadline!)

* Notification of acceptance: July 31, 2012

* Camera ready deadline: August 5, 2012

* Workshop date: October 13, 2012

When submitting manuscripts to this workshop, the authors should acknowledge
that manuscripts substantially similar in content have NOT been submitted to
