[visionlist] Signal delay in D-Sub, DVI and HDMI

Hi everyone,

I would like to connect 2 LCD computer screens (monitors) to one PC by 2
cables each with a length of 5 meters. Most of graphic cards provide one
D-Sub, one DVI and one HDMI port. In my experiment I have to present the
same stimulus in the same time on each screen. My question is: will
there be any time difference in transfering the image by cable connected
to D-sub and DVI slot? The first one is analog port and DVI/HDMI are
digital. In my view, I should use DVI and HDMI to provide the same
latency on each screen (I am not sure that these 2 different ports and
cables provides the same transfer speed). The problem is, I do not have
monitor with HDMI port. If I use adapter HDMI-->DVI will it not change
the time of transfering the data?

Thank you in advance for all replies!
