[visionlist] call for submission to special issue on cognitive neuroscience and neuroengineering from Journal of Neuroscience and Neuroengineering

Journal of Neuroscience and Neuroengineering (JNSNE) is an
international peer-reviewed journal that covers all aspects of
neuroscience and neuroengineering. The journal publishes original
full-length research papers, letters, tutorials and review papers in
all interdisciplinary disciplines that bridge the gaps between
neuroscience, neuroengineering, neurotechnology, neurobiology, brain
disorders and diseases, novel medicine, neurotoxicology, biomedical
engineering and nanotechnology.

The special issue "Bridging the Understanding of Mind and Brain with
Neuroengineering" aims to publish novel research which applies
engineering techniques to study or modulate the relationship between
brain and cognition, or studies which develop novel hardware/software
based on empirical findings in relationship between brain and
cognition. Potential topics for the special issue include (but not
limited to): applications of electroencephalograpy (EEG),
magnetoencephalography (MEG), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), near
infra-red spectroscopy (NIRS), transcranial magnetic stimulation
(TMS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in studying
perception, attention, memory, language, emotion, motor control,
decision making, learning, nerual plasticity, and
neuro-rehabilitation; sensors, signal transmission and storage
architectures, and computatoinal algorithm developed for solving
practical issues or inspired by findings in cognitive neuroscience.

Manuscripts must be prepared according to Journal’s guidelines, see
"Instructions for Authors" available at http://www.aspbs.com/jnsne.
Submit your manuscripts in MS word or PDF format directly to the Lead
Guest Editor Dr. Erik Chihhung Chang at auda at ncu.edu.tw . Please
ensure that the submitted manuscript is 100% new, original and
unpublished, has not been published previously and is not currently
submitted for review to any other journal or conference proceedings
and will not be submitted elsewhere.
