We are seeking a number of researchers at the doctoral, post-doctoral and research assistant level.
Research in the Active Perception Lab at the Center for Mind/Brain Sciences focuses on the perception of spatiotemporal objects, events and scenes. Of particular interest is how perceptual information is integrated over time and across different spatial coordinate systems. We use a combination of methods, including behavioral, eyetracking, EEG, MEG and fMRI techniques, as well as computational modeling. Further information can be found at our website: https://sites.google.com/site/melcheractiveperceptionlab/

Experience with the following tools/techniques is particularly desired: MATLAB, multisensory and tactile stimulation, image processing, time-frequency analysis in EEG/MEG, network and functional connectivity analyses, decoding approaches to neuroimaging data.

The Center for Mind/Brain Sciences at the University of Trento is a very nice place to work. It offers an international and vibrant
research setting with state-of-the-art neuroimaging methodologies,
including a research-only MRI scanner, MEG, EEG and TMS, as well as behavioral, eye tracking and motion tracking laboratories. The
University of Trento is ranked first among research universities in Italy, and the Trentino region is consistently at the top for quality of life and for the most efficient services in Italy. English is the official language of the CIMeC, where a large proportion of the faculty, post-docs and students come from a wide range of countries outside of Italy.
Interested candidates are encouraged to contact me by email at

at ECVP or would like to come visit the lab.
