Teach new clinical and practical skills

If you have taken your skills in a particular area of contact lens and anterior eye practice to the next level - then why not share your expertise and knowledge with delegates at next year's conference? We are now inviting proposals for clinical workshops by the closing date of 21 September 2012. Popular topics in the past have included:

·         RGP Contact lens fitting

·         OCT imaging 

·         Dry eye management

·         Hybrid contact lens fitting

·         Presbyopia correction with soft contact lenses

 

Workshops are usually approved for up to 3 CET contact lens points, and any topic related to contact lens and/or the anterior eye will be considered.  Presenters of accepted workshops can submit 1,000 word hand-out for their workshop by 5 April 2013. 

 

Spotlight on hot topics

We are also inviting proposals for Clinical Spotlights delving into the latest hot topics affecting the industry. Groups or individuals may submit proposals for a 2 hour Clinical Spotlight session on any topic relating to contact lenses and/or the anterior eye. Proposals should comprise 1.5 hours of CET presentations followed by a 30 minute Q&A period. Past topics include: 

·         Therapeutic management of red eye

·         opportunity for, and with, young wearers

·         non-spectacle correction of presbyopia

·         myopia
