Kansas State University: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN COGNITIVE PSYCHOLOGY /
APPLIED COGNITION. The Department of Psychology at Kansas State University
seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in
the Department’s Cognitive/Human Factors area to begin August 2013. The
Cognitive/Human Factors area is part of a research-based Ph.D.-granting
department in which faculty members conduct research, supervise graduate
students, and teach two courses (graduate and/or undergraduate) each
semester. A strong record of publication, demonstrated excellence in
teaching, and the ability to develop a funded research program are
required. We are seeking candidates who will complement current faculty
research interests and are able to help fulfill the Department’s teaching
needs in Cognition and related areas. The successful candidate should
demonstrate a strong commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students
of a diverse population. Information about the Department, its

http://www.k-state.edu/psych/. A doctoral degree in Psychology or a related
field is required prior to the time of appointment. Postdoctoral experience
