The Center for Digital Art and Experimental Media (DXARTS) at the
University of Washington is seeking a full-time, Research Associate, with
specific expertise in computer vision, social media and video distribution
systems. This is a full-time, 12-month (one-year) appointment that may be
extended upon successful performance up to a maximum term of three years.
The research will focus on the implementation of algorithms related to
facial recognition and profiling, and the development of software for
automatically organizing and generating content from video footage.
Applicants should have strong proficiency in C++, multi-threaded
programming, OpenGL, OpenCV and 2D and 3D geometry. Familiarity with
microcontrollers and electronics is also highly desirable.
