A funded PhD position is available for suitably qualified applicants at 
the Institute of Neuroscience of the University of Louvain (UCL, 
Brussels, Belgium) under the supervision of Dr Alexandre Zénon.

The research will be a follow-up of our recent study on NHP ("Attention 
deficits without cortical neuronal deficits", Nature, in press) and will 
concern the cortical and subcortical mechanisms of visual attention in 
humans. The main techniques involved will be functional imagery, 
psychophysics and pharmacological manipulations.

The applicants for this position should hold an undergraduate degree in 
Medicine, Psychology, Biology, Cognitive Science, Engineering or other 
related field. Experience in functional imagery, psychophysics and 
Matlab would be regarded as major advantages.

The position is funded for an initial period of 2 years. Applications

least two referees, and a transcript of your undergraduate degree.
