Postdoctoral positions in the cognitive neuroscience of attention and perception
*
The Woldorff Lab in the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience at Duke
University is currently accepting applications for new NIH-funded
postdoctoral positions to study the neural and cognitive mechanisms of
attention, perception, and cognitive control. These studies employ fMRI,
ERPs, and oscillatory EEG measures of brain activity, along with
simultaneous recordings of EEG and fMRI, in order to advance our
understanding of the mechanisms underlying these fundamental cognitive
functions.
Excellent research resources and environment, including high-density ERP
recording facilities and state-of-the-art 3T MRI scanners fully
dedicated to neuroimaging research. The resources also include
state-of-the-art MR-compatible EEG equipment for simultaneous EEG/fMRI
recordings.
Desirable candidates will have a background in attention, perception,
and/or cognitive control research, expertise in either fMRI or EEG/ERP
methods, and strong computer skills.Of particular interest would be
candidates with fMRI experience who are interested in combined fMRI/EEG
approaches. For additional information, contact Professor Woldorff at
