[visionlist] Dalmatian Dog Picture

I would like to use in a publication the classic picture of the
Dalmatian dog hidden in a set of black spots. Does anyone
know who should I request permission to reproduce it?

As far as I know, the picture was first published in
Life Magazine February 19, 1965, p.120.

Life Magazine seems to be part of Time Magazine and
its "Reprints and Permissions" web page
(http://www.time.com/time/reprints) states that
"If you are looking to request use of a photograph, please contact
the photographers or their agents directly to obtain permission."

In Life Magazine the picture is attributed to "RON JAMES"
and in other places it is attributed to "Ronald C. James".
I found Ronald James and Ron James, photographers,
but I think they are not the right ones.

Any help would be extremely appreciated!
