We seek a postdoctoral fellow to work on a 3-year France-Taiwan
collaborative project on visual consciousness headed by Chien-te Wu
(National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan) and Rufin VanRullen (CNRS,
Toulouse, France). The project, co-funded by *NSC (National Science
Council) in Taiwan** and ANR (Agence nationale de la Recherche)** in
France, will study the temporal dynamics of visual consciousness using
state-of-the-art cognitive neuroscience approaches including EEG/ERP, fMRI
and TMS.*
* *
*The postdoctoral fellow will be based in Taipei and work with Dr. Wu.
Candidates with a complete PhD degree in cognitive, behavioral or
computational neuroscience and related fields are encouraged to apply.
*Technical
sophistication in analysing imaging and EEG data, and in statistical
analysis are a big advantage. *Informal inquiries as well as official
applications (including CV, publication lists, and at least two letters of
recommendation) should be addressed to (*chientewu at ntu.edu.tw*).** The
position is open immediately but applications will be considered until a
suitable candidate is found. Salaries (including health insurance) will
meet the NSC standard in Taiwan (usually ranging from around 1500~1600
Euro/month). The contract is initially for one year with possibilities to
extend two more years. Since this is an international collaboration
project, the successful candidate will also be expected to travel to France
for ~ 1 month each year (travel expenses covered by the grant).*
