We seek a PhD student to work on a 3-year France-Taiwan collaborative
project on visual consciousness headed by Rufin VanRullen (CNRS, Toulouse,
France) and Chien-te Wu (National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan). The
project, co-funded by *ANR (Agence nationale de la Recherche)** in France
and NSC (National Science Council) in Taiwan, will study the temporal
dynamics of visual consciousness using state-of-the-art cognitive
neuroscience approaches including EEG/ERP, fMRI and TMS.*

*The PhD student will be based in Toulouse and directly supervised by Dr.
VanRullen.  As this is an international collaboration, the successful
candidate will be expected to travel to Taiwan for a few weeks each year
(travel expenses covered by the grant). Candidates with a Master degree in
psychology, neuroscience, engineer or related areas are encouraged to
apply. Computer programming skills are an advantage. Ability to speak
French is not required but a willingness to learn French will be a plus.
Monthly salary will be approximately 1,700 Euros, according to French
